How the days unfold.
Day 1
Arrive in Nairobi
You are met at the airport and taken to your hotel. If the flight is on time there is a short Nairobi National Park drive or a visit to the Giraffe Centre, then dinner in the city.

Day 2
Nairobi to Lake Nakuru / Nakuru to the Maasai Mara
After breakfast the private vehicle climbs the escarpment and drops into the Rift. The afternoon in Lake Nakuru is for rhinos, the lakeshore and Baboon Cliff. A final Nakuru morning, then the road west through Narok into the Mara. You arrive for an evening drive on the plains.

Day 3
Full day in the Mara
Dawn and late-afternoon drives with a rest at camp in the heat. The guide works the cats, the herds and whichever crossing or woodland looks alive that day.

Day 4
Mara plains and a Maasai visit
Another full safari day, with time set aside for a Maasai visit that is hosted rather than rushed. The evening is back at camp.
