How the days unfold.
Day 1
Arrive on the coast
Flight to Ukunda or Mombasa and transfer to interconnecting rooms in Diani. The rest of the day is the pool and the beach.

Day 2
Beach day / Mombasa morning
No outing. High tide, low tide, and an early dinner. A short Old Town and Fort Jesus visit, then back to Diani before the heat.

Day 3
Family dhow / Free day
A calm dhow sail timed around naps, then the beach. Reef trip only if the children want it. Otherwise the hotel.

To Tsavo / Tsavo morning
Morning drive to Tsavo West and one gentle game drive. Camp or lodge with family rooms. One game drive, then back toward the coast or the airstrip so the day does not run long.
